St Philip's is the Church of England cathedral in Birmingham. The church of St Philip was desinged by Thomas Archer, know as the 'gentleman architect'. The main building was completed by 1715. Archer was influenced by a visit to Rome and the building has a Baroque detail, in particular the concave-sided tower.

The book Positively Birmingham has a double page spread photo of the cathedral.
