Positively Birmingham Photos on the Internet - Use by Schools
If you purchase a school licence for a nominal annual fee then the 260 colour photos from the Positively
Birmingham are available for downloading from our website. This licence gives
teachers and students an excellent way of
enhancing project work in subject areas such as geography, local studies and
art. Use of the website by students also gives a considerable
insight into the practical aspects of using the Internet.

School Licenses Annual Fees
A school licence enables you to use the images on our website for educational purposes. For the year 2000 annual fees are:
Infant and Junior
School £50 + vat = £58-50
Senior Schools (11 -
16)
£100 + vat = £117-50
Sixth Form and other Colleges
£100 + vat = £117-50
- Year 2000 licences include the rest of 1999.
Terms of the School Licence include:
1. Photos can be downloaded and used in the following ways:
a. Imported into student projects
b. Printed out and used in displays within the confines of the school.
c. Incorporated into School websites as long as there is a credit:

Picture Library, www.birmingham-photos.co.uk '
with the URL forming a hyperlink to
our home-page.
2. Images that are covered by this agreement include all those on the public access area of our website. A minimum of 300 photos of the city will be available under the terms of the license by 1 December 1999. The site will be updated with new images on a regular basis.
2. All images remain the copyright of Birmingham Picture Library. The copyright reference should be visible whenever images are used.
3. No commercial use of Birmingham Picture Library website images is allowed by the School Licence.
4. The licence will need to renewed on an annual basis. Downloaded images can only be used if a current School Licence is held.
To receive your school licence simply send us your official order for the appropriate fee. We will issue your School Licence and provide instructions on how to download images from our site for use in the classroom.
